Which Social Media Management Tool Is Best for Iomi? Here’s What I Found

Managing Iomi’s social media presence has become one of the most exciting—but also time-consuming—parts of growing my business. As much as I love sharing photos of our brownies, writing captions, and engaging with followers, doing it all manually isn't sustainable. That’s why this week I researched different social media management tools to help organize content, save time, and keep Iomi looking sharp online.

Here are seven tools I looked into, with a quick breakdown of what they offer (free vs. paid), and how I think they could support Iomi’s social media needs:

1. Later

  • Free Plan: 1 social set (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.) and 30 posts per profile/month.

  • Paid Plan: Starts at $25/month.

  • Why I Like It: The drag-and-drop calendar is great for planning Iomi’s Instagram grid. It helps keep everything visually consistent—which matters a lot for a brand like mine where image is everything.

2. Buffer

  • Free Plan: 3 channels, 10 scheduled posts per channel.

  • Paid Plan: From $6/month per channel.

  • Why I Like It: Buffer is super simple. If you're just starting out and want to stay organized with a small budget, this one works. It’s clean and easy, but maybe too basic if you post a lot.

3. Canva Scheduler (Canva Pro)

  • Free Plan: No scheduler.

  • Paid Plan: $14.99/month with social media scheduling for up to 8 platforms.

  • Why I Like It: I already use Canva to design Iomi’s posts. Being able to schedule directly from the design tool saves me time. Everything in one place is a big plus.

4. Metricool

  • Free Plan: Limited to one brand and basic analytics.

  • Paid Plan: Starts at $22/month.

  • Why I Like It: This one’s really complete—it offers content planning, performance metrics, and even ad tracking. If Iomi starts doing paid ads, this could be very useful.

5. Zoho Social

  • Free Plan: Limited features for individuals.

  • Paid Plan: Starts at $10/month.

  • Why I Like It: If you’re already using other Zoho apps (I’m not, but still), this is a great option. The interface is user-friendly, and it offers solid scheduling tools at a lower price point.

6. SocialPilot

  • Free Plan: None, but 14-day free trial.

  • Paid Plan: From $30/month.

  • Why I Like It: It’s good for managing multiple accounts. I only use Instagram and Facebook for now, but if Iomi grows into YouTube or LinkedIn, this would be a smart upgrade.

7. Sprout Social

  • Free Plan: None, but 30-day free trial.

  • Paid Plan: Starts at $199/month.

  • Why I Like It: Honestly, it’s a bit too much for where Iomi is right now. But I can see why bigger brands love it—the analytics and collaboration tools are amazing. Maybe one day!

Final Thoughts

Right now, Canva Pro and Later are my top picks. Canva lets me design and schedule in one app, which saves time and keeps Iomi’s visuals consistent. Later helps me visually organize my feed, which is key for a brand like ours that relies on high-quality, mouth-watering content.

Social media is where Iomi connects with the world. Whether it’s announcing a new brownie flavor or sharing behind-the-scenes baking moments, using the right tools can help me focus more on creativity—and less on logistics.

I’ll test Canva Pro this month and let you know how it goes. If you’re also building a small business, I’d love to hear what tools are working for you!
