Week 12 Part A: Using Business Specific Online Tools

  This week, I explored several online tools to see which ones would help support and grow Iomi Bake , my small baking brand originally created in Colombia. Even though I’m not currently operating the business due to visa limitations, I want to keep building its digital presence and staying connected to customers and the baking community.  Online Collaboration Tools – Slack & Trello Iomi Bake may be a one-woman brand, but collaboration tools like Slack and Trello could help me in the future when I work with freelance designers, photographers, or even delivery partners. I like how Slack allows for easy messaging and sharing of files, and how Trello helps visually organize content planning or order timelines. Wk11B: What Your Classmates Thought About some other Social Meda Platforms and Tools

  This week I commented on April’s post about social influencers .  She talked about creators like @iamorlandojames and @lillyloutay, and how influencing has become a real career. Her post was more lifestyle-focused, while mine was about AI and branding. But I liked how both of us showed different ways people can share their passions online. Hers reminded me that connecting with others can start simple  just by doing something you love. This week I also commented on Coco’s post about AI in content creation. Her blog was very informative and aligned closely with mine — we both talked about tools like Canva and Jasper, and how helpful they are for small businesses. I liked how she explained the benefits for big brands too, and how she touched on the ethical concerns. Compared to mine, her post felt a bit more formal and focused on examples, while I shared a more personal experience with my dessert brand.
